Course Objectives
1.00 Understand the value of Interior Design
2.00 Understand the Design Language
3.00 Understand the Schematic Design
4.00 Understand the aspects of well-designed interiors
Expectations
Enter the classroom quietly and begin your Do Now.
Attend class at each meeting time unless sick or on a school trip.
Participate in all classroom discussions and activities.
Submit all assignments when due (No late assignments will be accepted unless you are absent.)
Follow all school and classroom policies, rules and procedures.
Only touch items that are yours without permission.
All personal grooming should be done at home or in the restroom.
Come to class prepared daily.
Classroom Rules
Power “OFF” “ALL” cellphones and smart devices before or upon entering the classroom. Place them inside of your bookbags or purses.
Use appropriate (clean) language at all times.
No horseplaying.
No eating inside the classroom. Water “ONLY” is permitted.
No popping chewing gum.
No writing on the tables or classroom equipment, books, etc.
No feet in the chairs.

- 2” three ring binder designated for this class
- Loose leaf notebook paper
- Pens (black or blue only)
- Pencils
- 10 index dividers
- 25 plus sheet protectors
Wish List
Kleenex boxes and individual
Paper Towels
Clorox and or Lysol Wipes (These are School Board Approved Brands)
Purell Personals advanced hand sanitizer (sold at Target and on Amazon)
Feminine Hygiene items in case of an emergency
Grades
Classwork: 5-35 points
Projects: 20-25 points
Reflection Papers: 25-50 points
Tests: 50-100 points
Final Exam: 25% of Grade
A= 100-90
B= 89-80
C= 79-70
D= 69-60
F= 59-0
Note: I reserve the right to amend this syllabus if needed.
