Pre-Algebra Class

I am your 8th grade Pre-Algebra (Math 8 on your schedule) teacher, Mr. Painter, and I am so excited to have you in class this year!

We are going to learn a lot in math class.  We will be covering the 8th grade math standards.  This class will lay the foundation in math that you will need in order to succeed in Math I at the high school level. 

If you come to class each day prepared, engaged, and eager to learn, then I have no doubt you will be successful.  This year is going to challenge you, but with dedication and hard work you will succeed.  I will be by your side every step of the way to encourage, push you, and help you.  Working together, I know we will have an awesome year!
