*Honors Statement*
This is an honors level course. We will cover topics at a faster pace, spending less time on direct instruction and more time on application, analysis, and extension. We will go deeper into select topics than what is covered in the CP version of the course. Student will generally have more independence in how they approach learning, but will also be held to a higher degree of responsibility for their learning. Honors level curriculum places a greater focus on Science literacy, including reading scientific texts and writing scientific research reports. This course will better prepare students for the rigor of college or AP level Science courses.
