GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN NUTRITION
CONSUMERISM
SANITATION
ETIQUETTE AND FOOD PREPARATION
TO SCORE ATA PROFICIENT LEVEL ON THE END-OF-COURSE ASSESSMENT
Mrs. Ritz CLASSROOM RULES AND EXPECTATIONS:
- ALL UCPS POLICIES, MHS RULES AND MRS. RITZ’S CLASSROOM RULES WILL BE FOLLOWED.
- BE IN YOUR SEAT WHEN THE TARDY BELL RINGS.
- COME TO CLASS PREPARED WITH SUPPLIES AND READY TO LEARN.
- RUN ALL ERRANDS AND USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE COMING TO CLASS!
- NO FOOD OR DRINK (EXCEPT WATER) ALLOWED IN CLASS.
- BE ON TIME! THE TARDY POLICY WILL BE ENFORCED.
- DO NOT PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN AND/OR SLEEP IN CLASS.
- WRITE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME ON ALL YOUR CLASSWORK.
- TREAT YOUR CLASSMATES, MRS. RITZ AND YOURSELF WITH RESPECT.
- NO CELL PHONES, HEADPHONES, ETC. ALLOWED IN CLASS.
GRADING SCALE FOR FOODS I CLASS:
PARTICIPATION 10%
CLASSWORK 25%
LABS 30%
TEST AND QUIZZES 25 %
HOMEWORK 10 %
TOTAL 100%
GRADED PAPERS: 10 POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR EACH SCHOOL DAY THAT A GRADED CLASSWORK/HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT IS LATE BEING TURNED IN.
