Professional Bio:  2020-21 will be my fourth year teaching Language Arts at Weddington Middle School.  Before my time at WMS,  I worked in higher education for 15 years at The Ohio State University with a focus on human resources and adult training and development.  I received my Bachelor's degree in French with a minor in Education from Indiana University, a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Ohio State, and a Master's in Labor and Human Resources from Ohio State.

Spotlight Information:  We are spotlighting some of our favorite places.  My family recently discovered St. Simon's Island in Georgia.  We had great weather, shared time with old friends (the beach was perfect for social distancing), and the light house was the perfect backdrop for the book I couldn't put down (The Light Between Oceans, by M.L. Stedman).  For all of these reasons, St. Simon's gets my spotlight!
