This healthful living course incorporates topics from the areas of both health education and physical education: motor skills development, movement concepts, health-related fitness, personal/social responsibility, mental & emotional health, personal & consumer health, interpersonal communication & relationships, nutrition & physical activity, and alcohol, tobacco & other drugs. Health and Physical Education is a graduation requirement.
Requirements and Evaluation:
Physical Education: Comfortable athletic clothes that conform to school dress code and athletic (gym appropriate) shoes.
Health: Chromebook (charged), notebook and/or folder for taking notes, and a writing utensil.
Due Dates and Late Work Policy:
All work should be completed on a daily basis. However, there will be a degree of flexibility to account for “life.”
Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning: UC Virtual courses are largely asynchronous meaning that instruction does not require the simultaneous participation of students and teachers during the instructional process. Students are able to communicate with their teacher by email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
