Maggie M. Murray
I grew up in Garner, NC, right outside of Raleigh. I attended a Christian school from Pre-K through 12th grade and then went on to study Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. From there, I got my first teaching job, teaching Kindergarten, and then went to Elon University to get my Masters of Education. While getting my Masters, I taught two more years, 1st grade, at my school before moving to Union County. I taught 4th and 1st grades at Wingate Elementary for 5 years and then moved to a school closer to home, Sun Valley Elementary-now Shiloh Valley Elementary- where I have been teaching 5th grade for 3 years. I am also working toward National Board Certification.

Classroom Expectations

Grades for Reading, Math, Science, & Social Studies Grades for Writing
Students will not be given homework during this time. In lieu of homework, students are expected to complete all assignments for the day by midnight each night. Exceptions will be made if a student is sick or if previous arrangements have been made by the parents/teacher.
