6th Grade Social Studies

Students will use historical thinking to analyze various societies.  Students will learn how historical events, documents, people, and societies have influenced the world they live in.

Units we will study: Rise of Civilization, Greece, Rome, Early Middle Ages,  & Late Middle Ages

Grading:

20% Homework/Classwork

40%Quiz

40% Test

Homework: 

Students will have a vocab word list for each unit with class notes that they should review both of these  every night. Assignments not finished in class, will need to be completed at home.
