Classwork 40%

Notebook 5%
Homework 5%
Homework assignments: Each student starts off with a grade of 100 for homework every six weeks. When a student fail to complete a homework assignment, I deduct five points from their homework grade when students forget to complete homework. Doing homework benefits the student for comprehending the lesson and studying for a test.
Notebook: I ask that students keep a notebook binder for class. A three ring binder is more than adequate for the task. I give class assignments graphic organizers, daily notes and homework are to be kept in the binder. I check notebooks every six weeks. Students will receive a notebook grade.
Missed Work: All missed work should be made up as quickly as possible. Test / Quizzes before or after school or sometimes during class. Exams not made up will receive a grade of zero. I normally stay until 4:00 p.m. Students may discus their situation with me and we will arrive at a solution that is suitable for both of us.
