Composition Notebook (Cow)
Glue sticks or tape

INTRODUCTION: This course is meant to help students understand the world they live in. It focuses on the natural systems of Earth present in the atmosphere, water, surface, and deep within its core and the processes that govern them. Additionally, human effects on the environment are discussed. Finally, it examines Earth as an object in space and its neighbors. After completion of this course, you will have a much greater understanding of the world around you.

Grading:
Daily Work (CW, HW, Notes): 10%
Quizzes (Movies/Clips too): 20%
Labs/Project/Notebooks: 30%
Tests (6 tests, 3 benchmarks): 40%
The NC grading scale is as follows:
A= 90-100%, B=80-89%, C-70-79%, D=60-69%, F=0-59%
*We have a NC Final Exam at the end of this course that is 25% of your final grade!*
