Library Media Information Skills

This class is an elective class for students who want to work in the library helping students and faculty and who want to learn more about the daily operation of our media center.  Students are called Student Library Media Assistants and assist with finding books, maintaining the collection, promoting events and programs, helping with equipment, taking pictures for the website, writing website articles and making videos.

Office Hours

Fridays: 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. - I will be online and available during office hours.

Grading

10% Canvas Assignments

40% 6 Weeks Project  (Possible projects-writing a website article, creating a booktalk, creating bookmarks, etc.)

50%  Work Logs (due every other Friday)
