Tutoring sessions that are normally offered after school every

Hi Students!

School's out for the summer!  It has been a joy getting to be your math teacher, both at MRMS and via remote learning.   Thank you, for your dedication.  It was nice to say good-bye to many of you during our drive-thru Monday morning!  I wish you and your families a wonderful summer break!

OUTSTANDING JOB on the Statistics Unit Test! 

Statistics Unit Test Results (101/101 students completed the test) -

Block 1:  100% - 8 Students;   A's - 31 Students;    B's - 3 Students  (95.8% Class Avg)

Block 2:  100% - 13 Students;   A's - 30 Students;   B's - 3 Students;  C's - 1 Student  (95.5% Class Avg)

Block 3:  100% - 11 Students;   A's - 26 Students;   B's - 5 Students;  C's - 2 Students  (94.3% Class Avg)

Overall Average:  95.2

Feel free to use the following data to create a line plot, stem and leaf plot,  histogram, and box and whisker plot per class, and think about how outlier/s have impacted your class average.  What is the distribution of data?  What is the IQR?  If you do this, please take a picture, and send it to me!

SNAPSHOTS - Please complete the snapshots by 4 PM every Thursday.  If you miss one or more on any given Snapshot, please utilize the 'Assignments' link to the left of this page.  This is where I will interact with you, to encourage you, or possibly answer any questions you might have.  Please remember, that you have already learned everything I'm assigning to you, so you should be able to troubleshoot where you made your mistake.  About 99.9% of the time, you will detect your mistake as you're explaining the algorithm to me or someone else.

GRADING/IXL's - No more assigned IXL's this School Year - All IXL's are now optional.

Since all grades are for progress monitoring, activities that are not completed on the day they are assigned, will be entered as a zero. This has always been my policy.  I will not be going back into the grade book to change grades if you send me an email a day or two after it was assigned, to let me know you completed the activity.  Please keep this in mind.  It will also encourage you to keep up with everything.  For example, if the assigned IXL for Tuesday,  is not completed by 9:00 AM Wednesday, it will be entered as a zero/missing.  Scores below the 80th percentile will be entered in Power School as 'Incomplete.'  Everyone should be able to achieve at least the 80th percent with ease, even at the higher levels. The majority of you are making it to 100% with all of the IXL's.
