Course Description
The Multimedia and Webpage Design course focuses on desktop publishing, graphic image design, computer animation, virtual reality, multimedia production, and webpage design. Communication skills and critical thinking are reinforced through hands-on projects utilizing software applications.  Simulations, projects, teamwork, FBLA leadership activities, meetings, conferences, and competitions provide opportunities for application of instructional competencies.

Course Materials

  • Headphones are essential to this course
  • A writing utensil (pen or pencil)

Instructional Philosophy
In CTE (Career and Technical Education) classes, students are expected to work on their own, in pairs, and as groups throughout the semester. Students will complete many hands on projects utilizing various software applications. My expectation is that students will be active participants in their own learning and they will be held accountable for such. It takes just as much energy to achieve positive results as it does to achieve negative results. Choose positive!
