Digital Electronics 7637 Student Information Packet
Digital Electronics will include both class room and laboratory instruction. Through this program the student will gain an understanding of the concepts of electricity and digital electronics.
Class room instruction will introduce the student to the course concepts. Laboratory instruction will reinforce classroom theory through the use of Multisym circuit simulation software.

Classroom Rules
ATTENDANCE: STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO BE IN CLASS AND
READY TO WORK WHEN THE TARDY BELL RINGS AND HAVE PAPER AND WRITING INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE.
LEAVING CLASS: STUDENTS ARE NOT TO LEAVE CLASS WITHOUT A PROPER HALL PASS AND THE PERMISSION OF THE INSTRUCTOR. STUDENTS SHOULD PLAN TO USE THE RESTROOMS BEFORE CLASS. ONLY ONE STUDENT AT A TIME WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE ROOM.
FOOD & DRINKS: FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM/LAB AREA. DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE LAB AT ANY TIME. FOOD ITEMS YOU MAY HAVE SHOULD NOT BE VISIBLE. PLEASE KEEP THEM IN YOUR BOOK BAG AND OUT OF SIGHT.
FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT: SHOULD BE RETURNED TO ITS ORIGINAL
LOCATION BEFORE LEAVING The CLASS / LAB AREA.
SAFETY: HORSEPLAY WILL BE CONSIDERED AS A MAJOR SAFETY VIOLATION.
DISRUPTIVE TALKING: WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. UPON THE NEED TO ASK OR ANSWER QUESTIONS STUDENTS WILL RAISE THEIR HAND AND WAIT TO BE RECOGNIZED BY THE INSTRUCTOR. STUDENTS MUST REFRAIN FROM ANY TYPE OF DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR WHICH MAY INTERFERE WITH A TEACHER'S RIGHT TO TEACH AND A STUDENT'S RIGHT TO LEARN.
SLEEPING IN CLASS: IS NOT PERMITTED, IT IS THE STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRIVE IN CLASS RESTED AND ALERT.
END OF CLASS: DURING THE LAST MINUTES OF CLASS STUDENTS WILL REMAIN SEATED AT THEIR STATIONS OR DESKS UNTIL THE BELL RINGS FOR DISMISSAL. STANDING AT THE DOOR WAITING FOR THE BELL TO RING IS NOT ALLOWED.
