     Where are you going to get the necessary training or education required to start your career?

     

    Making a college and/or career decision is an extensive choice. There are many alternatives and outcomes you need to consider. Take yourself through the decision making process to help come to a better decision on making your college and/or career choose.

     

    In Obj: 3.03 Part 1 you researched potential careers you may be interested in that require specific college degrees, training, certifications, and/or licensing. In Obj: 3.03 Part 2, you pick one specific career choice, and developed a SMART goal to go with your final career choice.

     

    In Obj: 3.03 Part 3, you will research three different places such as: colleges, universities, or training programs that you can attend to receive the necessary training required to start working in that career field.

     

    If choosing a career that requires specific training or licensing, complete the assignment conducting research on the requirements as to how and where you can become properly trained and licensed in that field for that career.

    OR

    If choosing a career that requires a specific college degree, complete the assignment conducting research on different colleges and universities that you can attend to obtain the required college degree.

     

    Use the internet to conduct your research. Websites that can be used include: www.cpcc.edu; https://www.naviance.com/, https://www.dol.gov/, https://www.labor.nc.gov/, https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges  and/or www.cfnc.org to help in your college and career research.

    Note: When uploading the assignment be sure to include a header that has student name, date, class, and save the file as: Obj. 3.03P3- yourlastname. Upload to the correct assignment link.

    NOTE: You will include the summary statement and details of this assignment in the final Career/College Presentation Obj. 3.03 Part 4. Place your answers in a presentation format using Power Point, Google slides, or PREZI. Be sure to follow the attached grading rubric, and include a title slide/frame that contains the following: Student Name, Date, Class, and Teacher.
