Certification Exam

Each program we work in, we are preparing to pass the industry recognized Adobe Certified Associate Exam.  We will take the exam at least once.  If you do not pass on the first attempt, you will have an opportunity for a retake.  All tutorials and projects have been designed to help you pass the exam, you will also be provided with reviews and online practice materials.

The certification exams are the proof of learning for this course.  Your results on the certification does not impact your grade for this course.  Each programs certification exam will be administered during the class block.  Your results can be viewed on

The exams are taken through Certiport, a third-party test center.  If you qualify for accommodations, you can request to Certiport to take the certification with accommodations.   Please see me for the request form.

Adobe Visual Design is both an honors and College Preparatory level course. Students earning credit for an Honors level course receive an elevated number of Quality Points for their Grade Point Average. Students choosing the Honors level course should be aware that this Honors level course will include:

  • More challenging coursework and assessments. Students will be expected to demonstrate higher levels of understanding for grades.

My expectation is that students will be active participants in their own learning in person or remotely.  Your success is based on what you put into the course.

  • I expect you to learn the programs
  • I expect you to be self-motivated
  • I expect you to be aware of what you need to do each day and for it to be your priority.
  • I expect you to attempt everything to the best of your ability.
