Objectives: To understand and engage in conversation, writing, reading, and listening in the target language. Focus will be on interpretive, presentational, and interpersonal communication. Comparing, contrasting, and connecting cultures, geography, and grammar will be stressed.
Grades: Grade Scale:
Quizzes, tests, and projects 45% A=90-100
Classroom activities 45% B=80-89
Homework 10% C=70-79
D=60-69
F=below 60
Supplies Needed Daily:
Allez Viens I text, chromebook, charger, spiral notebook (perforated edges), pen/pencil, French/English dictionary, ear buds, hand sanitizer, tissues, FACE MASK
Tutoring: This can be done any time on my googlemeet page or through an email to me on Canvas or the ucps email
Classroom Expectations: Posted in the Room (RESPECT, RESTRAINT, AND RESOURCEFULNESS.)
Makeup work: Contact your Absent Buddy immediately, and talk with me upon your return. Quizzes are announced days ahead, so you are expected to make up any missed quizzes the day you return.
Academic Integrity Code: Students found guilty of academic misconduct or breaking a test taking rule will have parents contacted and receive a 0 on the assignment.Extra Credit may be given at times throughout the year.
