Course Overview
This course provides the student with an overview of the physical sciences, focusing on chemistry and physics. It focuses on phases of matter, physical and chemical properties of matter, the atom and the periodic table, chemical reactions, acids and bases, laws of motion, force, work, power, energy, thermodynamics, waves, electricity, and magnetism. A standardized exam will be given at the end of the semester that will measure student learning. It is important that you do well on this test.

- Be in class, seated when the tardy bell rings
- No cell phones out during instruction
- No talking while the teacher is talking
- Remain in you seat until dismissed
- Be respectful. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. IF YOU WOULDN’T DO IT IN CHURCH, DON’T DO IT IN HERE!!
