Name: Ms. Ashley Streitman

My name is Ashley Streitman, and this is going to be my second year teaching 3rd grade at Shiloh Valley Elementary. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Children’s Literature and Childhood studies. I grew up in Union County, and attended Porter Ridge High School. I am engaged to my best friend, who I met in high school. I have two dogs: Derby and Cora. I adopted Derby in September 2016, and Cora in September 2020. I have loved getting to teach in the county that I grew up in! I am so excited to get to know all of you this school year!
