Exam:

There will be a state made Common Exam at the end of this semester. You will not be able to exempt this exam.

Tests:

Tests will be announced a week in advance. A review will be given the day before each exam. If you are absent the day before the test, you are still required to take the test on the set date. The review and review answer key will be posted on canvas following the class before the exam. Tests that are missed must be made up with-in one week from the day you return to school.

Quizzes:

You will have at least one quiz in each unit that will be announced the day before. Any other quizzes may or may not be announced.

Classwork/Homework:

Any classwork that is not completed during class will be homework. Some classwork will be collected and graded. Any homework problems will be covered at the beginning of class, and is expected to be corrected for the following class.

Progress Reports:

I will send a progress report for each student at the midpoint of each term.  It is expected that the progress report will be signed by a parent and returned within three class days.  Students who return progress reports on time will receive bonus points on a test.

Online Planbook

I currently use an online planbook during the transition to canvas.  Click on the link to view the planbook:

Participation:

There is a video for each lesson.  You are responsible for watching the video and getting the notes associated with the video.

Absences:  If a student is absent, he/she has 2 school days to make up and turn in work.  It is the responsibility of the student to check the planbook online to get assignments.  I also place any handouts in the hanging folder at the front of the room for the student to pick up when he/she returns to class.  If there are any questions about makeup work, students should contact me through email or at school.

Tutoring:

I arrive at school no later than 7:15am most days.  You may come in any morning for extra help.  If you need to arrange another time see me to set up a time.
