Classroom Expectations:

1.    Be respectful.

2.    Be prepared.

3.    Keep classroom clean.

4.    No technology (phone) unless teacher instructed. 

5.    Remain seated until the teacher dismisses.  

 

 

Keys to Success:

☺   Have a positive attitude!!

☺   Work hard every day and take clear, neat notes.

☺   Remember I am here to help you succeed. (Ask me questions, ask for help; take ownership of your education.) 

☺   Use your resources. (Understand how the lecture, notes and homework interrelate. 

☺   Start studying for tests early.

 

 

Class Materials:

       3 Ring Binder – 2 inch

       5 Dividers

       Loose leaf notebook paper

       Pencils

       TI – 84 graphing calculator

       Color pens

Grading Policy:

 

Tests:                                  60%

Quizzes:                              30%

Homework/ Classwork:       10%

 

 

Tutoring:

 

Tutoring will be available in Smart Lunch.

If you need extra help, I will be available in G133 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:10 – 16:00

(Come prepared with questions).

Email me if you need additional help.

Bathroom Policy: 

 

Students are allowed to use the restroom once, with teacher permission, during group and independent work.  

Only one student will be permitted to leave class at a time.

NO student is permitted to use the restroom in first or last 15 minutes of class or during notes.

 

 

Attendance

·         It is your responsibility to get all work missed due to an absence.

·         If you are absent the test day only, you will take the test during the day of your return.

·         If you are absent the day of a review session, you will take the test as scheduled.

Cheating and Plagiarism:

 

Cheating on a test or assignment will result in a grade of a zero for all involved.  Each student is responsible for individual assignments unless specifically stated by the teacher.
