Policies and Procedures

All school policies will be enforced in this class.

 Passes?

• Bathroom passes are hanging by the door. Please sign out if you need to use the restroom.
• A blue media center pass is required to check out books in the media center.
• A white medical pass is required to visit the school nurse.

Entering the room?

• You are to come to class prepared and ready to work. 
• A charged chromebook, paper, pencil, and binder should be brought to class each day.
• Get all materials before you find your assigned seat, and follow the instructions given on the board/projector.

Throwing things away?

• Raise your hand if you need to get out of your seat.
• Please do not throw things across the room.

Sharpening your pencil?

• Please make sure you have at least 2 sharpened pencils for the start of class.
• If the teacher or other students are talking to the class, please wait until they are finished.

Participation in Class?

• Respect teachers and classmates ideas during group work.
• Do not make derogatory comments for ANY REASON.

Computer Use?

• Computers need to be fully charged every day.
• Computer & Internet activity is for class work ONLY.
• You are not permitted to access unauthorized websites including listening to music.

Book Bags?

• Backpacks, over-sized purses and duffle bags are not allowed in the classroom.
  
  

Cell Phones?

• Students are allowed to use the phone in the main office for emergency purposes.
• Students may not use cell phones during the day.  

Group Work?

• Cooperate with the others in your group.
• Use your inside voice.
• Complete your own work.
• Return all materials to the proper location when you are done.

Other Student Responsibilities?

• Have respect for the room furnishings and borrowed materials.
• No food or gum is allowed.
