Welcome to Ancient History!  My hope is that you will learn to appreciate ancient history as we learn about and experience ancient civilizations.   We will use many online resources, a few good old fashioned books, music and songs, art, and even dance to experience cultures around the world.

We will focus on these five basic concepts first, and they will be applied to each unit of study:

-GEOGRAPHY

-HISTORY

-CULTURE

-GOVERNMENT

-ECONOMICS

The ancient civilizations we will "experience" are:

-Early Humans

-Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East

-Asian Civilizations

-African and Islamic Kingdoms and Empires

-Civilizations of the Americas

-Classical Cultures of Greece and Rome

-Medieval Madness

Late work (6th grade policy):

1 day late= -10%

2 days + late=partial credit
It is YOUR responsibility to remember to bring late work to me, I will not ask for it!

Grade Changes:

If you find a mistake on Canvas, need to turn in extra credit, or want me take another look at a score, please complete a request form and turn it in to me before the end of the grading period.
